Himonya Pond in the park is approximately 8,000 square meters in size, and from the Edo period to the early Showa era, the pond was carefully managed as an irrigation reservoir in Himonya Village, and it was a precious water source that brought the harvest of grains to the village. After the war, the park became the management of the ward, and it was maintained as a park where you can enjoy the petting play and small animals.
